La tradizione del vino raccontata in una birra! Il risultato è una novità assoluta che ha saputo dare vita a un nuovo stile: l’Italian Grape Ale. 40% di mosto di vino Sangiovese (della tenuta di Bibbiano, Siena, Toscana) e 60% di mosto di birra Duchessa fermentano insieme creando un’alchimia indimenticabile, grazie alla lavorazione “Metodo Classico”.
Produciamo L’Equilibrista dal 2009, sempre a settembre, in concomitanza con la vendemmia, e il prodotto finale varia in base alle annate proprio come nella tradizione vinicola. Come da antica ricetta è il liqueur d’expedition a rendere unica la formula magica, grazie anche all’aggiunta di una piccola quantità di Equilibrista dell’annata precedente.

The tradition of wine told in a beer! The result is an absolute novelty that has been able to give life to a new style: Italian Grape Ale. 40% Sangiovese wine must (from the Bibbiano estate, Siena, Tuscany) and 60% Duchessa beer must ferment together, creating an unforgettable alchemy, thanks to the "Classic Method" process.
We have been producing L'Equilibrista since 2009, always in September, coinciding with the harvest, and the final product varies according to the vintages just as in the winemaking tradition. As per the ancient recipe, it is the liqueur d'expedition that makes the magical formula unique, thanks also to the addition of a small quantity of Equilibrista from the previous vintage.
